The Role

  •  Solution Definition and Deployment

  • Solution Architect understands the customer context and business challenges, also identifies opportunities from customer expectations by collaborating and interacting with client executive, business consultants, DS R&D, customer business executives / users.

  • The solution architect defines, proposes and provides an integrated Global Solution enabling customer to achieve its business objectives.

  • Enable the customer to express their business vision and analyses their application architecture in order to obtain best possible solution.

  • Evaluate solution approach options and available technology to ensure final proposal demonstrates capabilities that are defined in our industry referential documentation to the maximum extent possible

  • Assess Customer Opportunity in regards of feasibility, value and risks

  • Contribute to Capture customer business processes and define to be business process

  • Ensure detailed user case scenarios are defined and approved for each client solution being deployed

  • Define Global Solution Architecture to support customer business objectives, highlighting committed value, and taking extra care of feasibility and delivery effort

  • Identify and design enterprise system interface and data migration requirements.

  • Ensure the alignment of the delivered solution with the committed (SoW) project scope

  • Review and approve all To-Be process designs, use cases and functional specification

  • Capitalise on Customer Experience and project deliverables


 Provide an advanced level of industry business process bringing to bear the latest Dassault Systemes solutions by articulating, crafting and implementing collaboration product design and development processes, systems integration and data management processes across a customer's value chain, business units, and supply chains

Participate in and chair, if required, Customer business process workshops, Solution Proposal development and review process, ensuring that proposals and statement of works fully align with client’s requirements

 What you need to have:

  • 10 + years of experience in similar activities, out of which minimum 4-5 years in solution architecting

      • helor in Engineering or similar discipline

      • Experience with 3DEXPERIENCE Platform, ENOVIA V6 or Matrix One deployments

      • Experience with one or more DASSAULT SYSTEMES product brands (implementation) like ENOVIA, CATIA, DELMIA, SIMULIA, EXALEAD etc.

      • Knowledge of how to apply PLM and/or CAD/CAM/Simulation/Automation capabilities to large organisations to enable customer strategic initiatives to be deployed in an engineering environment

      • Good understanding of solution architecting methodologies.

      • Experience with Business process definition and reengineering, use case definition and modelling

      • Experience with tools like VISIO, any solution architecting tools will be added advantage

      • Experience in customer proposal writing, RFI/RFP response, Statement of Work contribution

      • Experience in participating/ leading customer business / technical workshop

      • Familiarity and good understanding of technical aspects related to various DASSAULT SYSTEMES products when it comes to its implementation so as to ensure the solution feasibility (assess the risks involved) and deployment.

      • Expertise in at least one or two industry domains like aerospace, automotive etc.

      • Ability to think the big picture, be innovative and pragmatic

      • Organisational adoption management for large deployments of new solutions

      • Experience working within a product delivery life cycle; waterfall, agile etc.

      • Experience presenting Enterprise level solutions to executive management

      • Ability to collaborate with a diversity of customer's teams to address important issues and to resolve them

      • Ability to provide project leadership to a large implementation team

      • Effective communication and conflict management
