Their Industry Services Division is responsible for the delivery of the product implementations in Enterprise and household-name brands, providing exciting and challenging exposure to leading-edge innovation in a wide range of industries.

The Role

Based in the UK, you will work with industry leading organisations across a wide array of industry sectors driving teams of experts and ensuring our customers’ IT environments meet all requirements both in hardware configuration and software. Your architecture should deliver high availability, high performance and stability for the best possible experience to end users using an on-premise setup or cloud solution. Supported by our wider Services team, it will be your responsibility to: • lead the installation and configuration needed to create Development, QA, and Production environments for the 3DEXPERIENCE platform and associated solution elements; • audit and propose solutions that answer to customers’ main operational issues (for example, the tuning/configuration of 3DS products and related databases); • instruct the customers’ IT personnel (as well as other Dassault and Dassault partner personnel), share knowledge, and troubleshoot environments to ensure successful go-lives, and provide requisite technical documentation for customers and other stakeholders; • be ready for challenging, complex working environments, state of the art technologies and interactions with the Dassault Systemes’ RD teams when working on so called “first of a kind” deployments.

The Person

  • You need to show knowledge of performance optimization on server, database, query, data structures and data flow levels; understanding of software design, functions, loops, streams, stacks, errors is essential;

  • You also need to demonstrate an understanding of networking components, system deployment, software installation, hardware and application configuration, system administration, hands-on automation, scripting, disaster recovery, virtualisation, VDI, and the application of security layers;

  • You need to be a technically minded, hands-on individual with ability to operate in a logical, collaborative and efficient manner;

  • A basic understanding of database architecture is also an important requirement for this position.
