The Opportunity

 A highly commercial/technically aware Sales Director position with the chance to join “in at the ground floor” of a rapidly growing business and become a fundamental part of this business. Reporting to the CEO, supporting the board with both day to day and strategic decision making to make this a truly world-leading Tier 1 supplier.

 With the business having already established an exciting pipeline of global automotive OEMs, it now requires someone with industry/technical knowledge, an established network, and expertise to take them to the next level.

The Person

 This is an exceptional position and requires an exceptional talent; more than just your average Sales Manager/Director.

  •  Knowledge - a highly-developed background and understanding of the UK automotive engineering sector, preferably within a Tier 1 component supplier business

  • Commerciality - someone with more than just the ability to sell but create and negotiate the commercial opportunity to expand revenue

  • Passion - a genuine and sincere excitement about automotive engineering, someone who keeps abreast of market trends with the ability to analyze and act on such changes

  • Commitment - the drive to push things forward and deliver continued growth and exceptional results

  • Leadership - taking complete ownership and responsibility for the role and the day-to-day running of the entire sales operations

  • Humility - ability to put the business first and work in unison with internal/external stakeholders and other senior members for the good of the company
