The current opportunity is to both stabilise and continue to improve the Source to Pay SAP functionality through a number of strong skill areas detailed below:

the role

  • Work in collaboration with the newly established Shared Service facility to enable and support the business objectives and high level of service standards already underway across the various business entities 
  • Support the team in their journey to achieving the required results, maturity and capability as they advance through the various stages of the Production and Business System
  • Work closely with the Project Manager and Change Managers to ensure appropriate involvement in, and of, solution fit team activities 
  • Facilitate and coach the team from the ‘as-is’ state, to the ‘to-be’ and live system and where applicable creating a gap analysis that enables a rigorous plan to execute the continuous improvements. 
  • Ensure a high performing solution fit team is in place, for passing requirements to the programme and implementing at regional / functional levels
  • Interface closely with the SSC, delivering effective cultural base transformation and change management methods
  • Directly provide formal and informal training and coaching 
  • Assist in achieving Strategic Plan objectives
  • Create a culture of Daily Continuous Improvement and implement on-going lessons learnt process to enhance the solution processes / models moving forward
  • Engage with senior stakeholders to ensure Get Fit concepts are understood, and manage team so that these are consistently communicated across all user populations
  • Providing regular updates to management, including weekly status reporting

the experience

  • At least two implementation and/or continuous improvement roles to successfully deliver a compliant purchase to pay process.
  • Must have worked in one of the following environments: engineering, infrastructure, transport, marine, utilities
  • Ability to confidently coach different areas of the business (function and grade) and adapt style of communication / interaction to meet needs of audience
  • Must have worked in an ERP environment where there was a shared service centre
  • Must be able to talk to the accounting impact of P2P (not to the extent of knowing all the double entries)
  • Must be available to work in other locations as and when required
