Damian Navas

Damian is a co-founder of Haig & Co and has over 15 years experience in recruitment & talent search for SME’s through to blue chip companies. A firm believer in a truly customer centric approach, he co-created Haig & Co to prove that recruitment experiences can be enjoyable, successful and truly valuable to all involved. With a core network in the Finance & Accounting sector, and a few grey hairs to prove it, Damian oversees the operational and talent delivery aspects of our projects. A petrol head, geek and closet gamer, he can be seen at the weekends looking like a power ranger in leathers on his beloved Triumph whilst playing on his Xbox (but not at the same time, obviously!).

The amazing ability to buy un-needed, expensive items from eBay and successfully telling his wife that they cost a 10th of the real price.

Launching Haig & Co!

Greg Morrall

Starting out in life as a property investor, before building and running his own Estate Agency and then moving into property recruitment, Greg can now be found applying his business knowledge and experience here at Haig HQ. He’s the one beavering away behind the scenes running the business so the rest of us Haigermeisters can get on with what we’re good at: the customer bit.

Outside of work he’s all about the lycra! Greg’s daily triathlon: hour in the gym, day at work, followed by dinner with the family means he’s always full-of-beans-fit, diligently dedicated to work and still super Dad to his kids.

Sounding incredibly knowledgeable about British History, whilst inventing dates and minor detail.

To give his girls a great start in life by being the best dad he can and maintaining a decent work/life balance.

Tracey Byrne

Tracey joined Haig & Co as our Talent Partner which means she is our ‘customer ambassador’; simply put she will be driving the delivery of exceptional talent & service to our clients and candidates. She’s had a great time over the past 25 years plus (that’s all she’ll admit to anyway!) working within external recruitment and resourcing. Having also worked in-house, mentoring and managing, Tracey knows just how challenging every aspect of recruitment can be, which is why it’s so great when we succeed!

When Tracey’s not recruiting, her husband can usually find her horsing around the country upon her trusty steed the ‘ginger ninja’…

A real Bionic Woman and she can do the splits.

To have ridden the Cheltenham Gold Cup winner by the time she’s 70!

Graham Smith

Originally a qualified accountant from industry, Graham began his career in various Midlands based line roles in the Consumer, Industrial & Automotive sectors. He then moved into management consulting with KPMG where he was a Partner and the Global Head of Engineering & Industrial Products sector. Since retiring from KPMG Graham has had a further career in executive search and selection after Heidrick & Struggles asked him to join them in the Industrial Practice based in London. He has since migrated back to the Midlands, joined Haig&Co in February 2019 as their Non-Executive Director and still continues to be heavily involved in executive search and selection within the Industrial & Automotive sectors.

Outside of work Graham’s family have always been the main priority for him, he is also a self-confessed petrol head, enjoys golf, skiing and football (not playing and managing anymore though!)

Matt Rolfe

George Stevens

George's journey started at 15 with a love for cycling that took him racing all over Europe and led to a position in the top 10 UK Junior rankings. His first professional role was in FS followed by some time spent in Ohio, US, working in sales for a global engineering and manufacturing company. Opening up the world of manufacturing to him, George transitioned into furniture manufacturing. Here, he was thrown into the technical aspects of machining and Computer Aided Design (CAD).

These events have all contributed towards the skills ideal for the world of talent in the Digital Transformation sector such as working hard to gain results, human interaction in sales as well as being able to get ‘down ‘n’ dirty’ with machinery and computer software and being able to notice the important links between the two!

Flying planes (genuinely - a recently qualified private pilots licence!)

Being called Captain whenever possible!

Molly Loftus-Martin

Our illustrious Molly, joined the Haigermeisters in 2018 and quickly established herself as a researcher and resourcer extraordinaire. Supporting multiple projects and permanent and contract assignments, Molly is quite simply a talent sleuth. Having joined Haig&Co after working at an apprenticeship training academy, tracking down the stars of the future, Molly's remit is simple; to search, track down and engage with the best talent in the marketplace.

Pritpal Kallha

Head Of Building Envelope Architecture Recruitment

Pritpal or PK as most of his colleagues and clients know him, comes from a construction background, from helping his father with the family construction business to having graduated with a Civil Engineering Degree, construction has always been in PK’s blood. Beginning his recruitment journey in accountancy recruitment and then shortly moving into the Construction sector, PK has become synonymous with building successful divisions in the UK and Middle East, and is now an industry renowned expert and has a niche within the Façade and Architectural recruitment sector.

12 years into his career, PK founded Singh & Jones in 2016, which has successfully grown over the years to providing technical candidates in commercial and operational recruitment. As PK looks to solidify the business as the “go to” recruiter in the Midlands for Facades, Haig equally have the same drive and ambitions. So in 2019, a chance meeting, led to Haig Building Envelope & Architecture Recruitment (B.E.A.R for those who think its too long)

Haig B.E.A.R are now perfectly placed to dominate the industry with a vision and sole goal in mind…Delivering the best talent to the best clients and doing it right first time. With a combination of experience and knowhow, the B.E.A.R brand will become a powerhouse in years to come.

Warwick Paull

Recruitment Business Partner

Warwick joins the Haig&Co team with a fantastic background as an ex semi-professional cricketer who then became an accountant! A natural transition in our eyes! Originally from South Africa, Warwick settled in Birmingham a number of years ago and recently moved into recruitment and will be supporting our mid to senior Qualified Finance markets. We think with the combination of his sporting background, his professional Finance experiences and a love for ensuring that we deliver a recruitment service to remember for the right reasons, he is a great asset to the team.
